Coming soon – camera goggles

By Martin Olson

Coming soon – camera gogglesAction video from helmet cams is becoming more and more common. Now a US company, Adventure Eye Video Systems is preparing to launch a unique ski goggle with an integrated video camera that will record hours of action at up to 30 frames per second. The camera is mounted into the goggle frame and features a large switch that is easy to operate even with gloves on. At the end of the day footage is easy to download without any special software. While the tiny camera records the action, an integrated microphone also registers the oohs and ahhs. The Summit Series camera goggle should be ready for action next fall.

If you can’t wait for the camera goggle, you might want to check out the amazing wearable action cameras that can be mounted on helmets, goggles, handlebars or anywhere else you want to capture the fun for memories or bragging rights. They are only 4 ounces but capable of capturing full HD resolution on an internal memory card. No wires or tapes. There is even a fast action setting of 60 frames per second (twice that of TV quality video). You Tube will never be the same.
