HIT the slopes with Rossignol’s heated ski jacket

By Martin Olson

Rossignol is taking the idea of a hot jacket one step further by including heat panels wired to a battery and controller.

Women’s HIT Jacket II is the successor to HIT Jacket that was introduced last year. Heat panels have been resized and repositioned for maximum efficiency and an LED on the sleeve indicates when the heat is on. A new heating pad has been added to the collar as well as a new battery that features two power levels. The power controller is a palm-sized device that fits neatly into a special pocket. On high the jacket will heat for 20 minutes, repeatable 6 times a day.

So far, no heated clothing for men.
