G3

Genuine Guide Gear started out developing better gear for serious backcountry enthusiasts and guides. G3 products include important accessories such as probes, shovels and skins but the main products are skis and their own binding. The ski series includes 3 new models this year. G3 doesn’t like to talk about sidecut radius so those stats are not available. They say because they use variable sidecut geometry a number would only be an approximation and relatively meaningless. We don’t necessarily agree but below we list tip/waist/tail measurements so readers can guesstimate how shapely is the ski.

A major development for G3 is the introduction of its new AT binding, the Onyx with its lightness and ease of use.
