Scarpa

Scarpa got its start in Italy in 1938 and remains a family-owned and operated company. SCARPA stands for Società Calzaturiera Asolana Riunita Pedemontana Anonima which means Associated Shoe Manufacturing Company of the Asolo Mountain Area. A full range of backcountry ski boots for every mission from weekend day trip to high alpine expedition are offered. Weight is an important consideration in a touring boot. Listed weights are for a sample size of 27.5 for men or 25.5 for women. Binding compatibility is another consideration and Scarpa offers boots that match the full range of available bindings.
