Alpina Ski Boots

Alpina is a Slovenian shoe and boot-maker that has been in business for over a century. Its four factories employ over 2000 workers and since 1948 Alpina has been shipping outdoor sports footwear for skiing and hiking. Although traditional manufacturing is its history, Alpina has developed a state-of-the-art computer driven scanning device that reads 12 key dimensions of the foot including the instep height, ankle placement, heel to forefoot ratio and overall volume. With over 2500 foot records, Alpina is recasting its lasts for even better fit.

While it may be best known for its World Cup exposure in cross-country gear, Alpina also has a heritage of elite level alpine ski boots that include World Cup and Olympic wins. The 09/10 offering of boots builds on that legacy with a collection that covers the entire range of skiers.
