Atomic Bindings
Some brands find that it makes most sense to have an established binding company make tailored bindings for their skis. For example Head uses Tyrolia bindings and Volkl uses Marker. Atomic makes its own binding line although some synergies are trickling over from sister company Salomon. An example is the Salomon technology Smarttrack set up on the Atomic Race ST. Following is a summary of the main binding families at Atomic.

Neox 14
Neox was developed by Atomic and still represents the top of their line. They say it is the toepiece with the most features worldwide. It’s robust and accurate thanks to a laser-inscribed tension scale calibrated at the factory. It’s a twin-pivot design for increased elasticity and safety. Neox is found on the Race and Drive category of performance skis. The number after the name refers to the maximum DIN setting. Models available: Neox 14, Neox TL 12, Neox TL 10

XTL 9 Lady
The XTL line appears to have Salomon DNA as well as the XTO line. They are light full-flex bindings found on many women’s and junior models. Models available: XTL 9, XTL 7, XTL 045.

XTO 14
XTO is used with the slick Smarttrack system for easy mounting and adjustment. These binding are found on Nomad all-mountain skis. Models available: XTO 14, XTO 12, XTO 10

FFG 14
