ATOMIC SKI BOOTS

Last year Atomic introduced Live Fit, a boot with two huge buckles, a massive power strap and two elastic zones around the forefoot to create a foot-friendly boot for beginners and those progressing. The stretchy panels allow the forefoot to rest naturally on the footbed without crushing side forces common in other boots. The shell still provides support and ski control despite the comfort. It was so popular last year that Atomic had to step up production to meet this year’s demand.

RACE BOOTS

Atomic race boots are the real thing. They are not meant to be worn straight out of the box and usually require specialized boot fitting before skiing. A forefoot width of 98mm is considered narrow, 95mm is very narrow.

BURNER

Burner is the right choice for high performance skiers that don’t want to wear race boots off-piste. The Burner Enduro chassis is raised slightly for better performance on wider skis. The shell is offset to the inside by 1mm and forward lean angle is 16°-18°.

HAWX

Hawx was introduced a few years ago and continues with a full range for men and women. The shell incorporates a unique flex zone called iFlex by Atomic. It is designed to allow natural forefoot movement and to enhance balance. Our long term test at RMGG confirmed that Hawx has a perfect balanced stance feeling. Forward lean is 16°.

WOMEN’S BOOTS

There are several key differences in models designated as women’s boots. A specific cuff is designed with cutouts so it will stretch to allow an additional 10mm of space if needed. In addition, the cuff is adjustable so it can be lowered by 10mm to reduce cuff height as needed. And of course all women’s liners are designed especially for women’s feet.
