Atomic Theory

Atomic Theory
Type all mountain cruising twin tip
Lengths Available 168, 177, 186cm
Length Tested 186 cm
Test Conditions Snowy weather day on hardpack groomed slopes
Theory is a new ski in a wider all mountain series that sets it apart from the Atomic Nomad all mountain skis. The same wood core with Adaptive Rocker early tip rise profile is featured on these skis.

The test pair had a center mounting position that feels a bit strange at first if you aren’t used to it. After a few turns to adjust the ski was easy and fun despite being a big ski. It made short work of the soft choppy conditions on test day. One almost feels lazy on these skis they are so stable and easy to balance on. Part of that is due to the rocker profile that makes turning so effortless.

The Bottom Line: Theory definitely felt like it would be a blast in more powder snow. The rocker shape makes them very easy to turn so tight spots and trees would be a breeze on these.
