Length Tested 174 cm
Test Conditions Soft Packed Powder, -10°C (16°F)
This ski features an extra wide binding interface that Blizzard says improves edge grip on wider skis. Despite the width it did feel very positive and secure underfoot.

Our test pair took time to adjust to the easy turning (tip rocker?). Or maybe it was that the binding felt very far forward. We measured it and it appeared to be at least one inch ahead of where we expected it. So the test experience got off to a shaky start. Once adjusted to the very easy turn initiation, the ski was typical Blizzard power on edge. We liked it in the end and wished the snow was a little harder to really experience the powerful edge performance.

The Bottom Line: It’s a powerful ski but we recommend going up a length from what you normally ski.
