Outland 80 Pro

Dynastar Outland 80 Pro
Type All Mountain
Lengths Available 152, 158, 165, 172, 178 cm
Length Tested 178 cm
Test Conditions Soft Packed Powder, -8°C (18°F)
This ski is a new model that replaces the outgoing Contact 4x4 as a high performance all mountain ski. The main difference is the Outland features a slight early rise design. The result is even more versatility than the 4x4 and an easier ski to ride. A good example of how rocker can make a ski even better. It has more shape than a lot of all mountain skis and we liked how that made it a lively performer on the groomed.

The Bottom Line: The Dynastar tradition of making big mountain skis can be felt in this model. Outland 80 Pro is a serious contender for best all conditions ride on the mountain.
