ELAN
Last year Elan had a full series of rocker profiles but Elan strives to make sure all skis are realistic consumer products. Rocker shapes have some benefits for easy turning but how to combine that trait with good grip when needed? Elan engineers have come up with an ingenious way of combining the two in the new Amphibio series. One side of the ski has traditional camber shape while the other side has subtle rocker. The result is a ski that looks slightly twisted. Skiers need to be aware that Amphibio models have a dedicated left and right ski and the skis are labeled left and right to make things easy. This year Amphibio technology will be found in three models in the Waveflex series and Amphibio Insomnia in the women’s collection.
