THE FACTION COLLECTIVE

The Faction Collective is a rider-centric company with a conscience. Besides using sustainable products like bamboo and increasing use of non-toxic UV-stabilized inks, it initiated a pilot project to recycle skis. They accept any ski in any condition. The skis are taken apart, edges melted down and sold back to industry and the rest of the skis are ground up and used as concrete filler in local construction. The pilot project was in Verbier, Switzerland and talks are progressing with a US firm to do the same in North America.
