FULL TILT Ski Boots

In the winter of 80/81 something different appeared on ski slopes. It was the unique shape of the Raichle Flexon boot with its strange ribbed tongue. That tongue was the brainchild of inventor Eric Giese who applied experience gleaned from working on early space suits for NASA. Those ribs that allow movement in everything from space suits to drinking straws became the key technical advantage of the new design. The rest is history and what a history it is, including decades of World Cup podiums right up to the last Olympics. In the last decade the flexon design found many followers in the freeride and freestyle world.

Around the year 2000 one of the most successful boot designs in history ceased production and fans were left to scrounge parts on Ebay to keep their boots alive. To the relief of many, Full Tilt is the reincarnation of the original design with a few tweaked versions thrown in. The Original model is made in the original molds that have passed through several owners over the years. Full Tilt also offers a full range of spare parts for those that insist on refurbishing their old boots.
