Hart Skis

Hart Skis was founded in 1955 by Hart Holmberg and a friend in his St. Paul, Minnesota carpentry shop. Hart grew to the point where by the 1967 it had reached global brand status and an amazing 40% market share.

Historically Hart has been associated with the best freestylers and the list of Olympic medals and World Championships medals won on Hart skis is a long one. Currently Hart is a supplier to the US Freestyle Team. Interstingly, the grandson of Hartvig Holmberg, Bill Holmberg, joined Hart in 2003 to continue the family tradition.

Hart claims to be one of only a small number of American ski brands today. Hart is committed to earth-friendly practices with such things as using recycled paper and planting an evergreen tree for every pair of skis they make.

The skis themselves are handmade using modern methods and materials including laminated wood cores and titanal. All Hart skis come with a limited lifetime guarantee.
