K2 ... still making skis for bums like you

It’s kind of refreshing to know that after 45 years K2 still has that cheeky, irreverent edge that made the industry raise its eyebrows back in the day of hot-dogging and wet T-shirt contests. K2 hasn’t forgotten its duct-taped ski bum roots and the 2010 Collection catalogue is dedicated to “making skis for bums like you.”

The history of quality construction has also not been forgotten. Wood cores, multi-radius designs, titanium alloy reinforcing and rocker profiles are just some of the technologies in the modern K2 collection.

K2 divides its offerings into 3 major camps for 09/10.

  1. Adventure Category is new and is for skiers that ride off-piste.
  2. All-Mountain Category for resort-based in bounds skiers.
  3. Twin-Tips Category is fully functional twin tips from backcountry to park.
