MOMENT – hand-made in Reno, Nevada

Moment is a small company that presses and finishes each ski by hand in its small facility in Reno, Nevada. In the past year Moment has expanded, doubling production, adding bamboo cores and adding 6 new models to this year’s line.

The line is composed of 17 adult wood-core twin tips that range from park-specific jib tools to big-line sleds. Moment uses modern shapes where appropriate such as rocker and early taper to improve skiability. Rocker shapes vary from traditional camber profile to tip and tail rocker with no camber. Tip and tail rocker with camber is called “moustache rocker” for obvious reasons.

The skis are quite distinctive in shape with a cropped off tip and tail.
