MOMENT Skis... hand-made in Reno, Nevada
Moment is relatively new to the list of independent ski-makers, but already they are supplying a US Ski Team member with her mogul skis. It is a small company that presses and finishes each ski by hand in their small facility in Reno, Nevada.
The line is composed of wood-core twin tips that range from park-specific jib tools to big-line sleds. Moment uses modern shapes where appropriate such as rocker and early taper to improve skiability. The skis are quite distinctive in shape with a cropped off tip and tail.
