Fire Arrow 74 EDT (New)

Ski Reviews

Nordica Fire Arrow 74 EDT
Type Frontside Carver
Lengths Available 156, 164, 172, 180 cm
Length Tested 172cm
Test Conditions Soft Packed Powder, -12°C (10°F)
This is a dedicated carving performance ski that gripped impressively despite the rather soft conditions. Harder snow was not available on test day.

The Fire Arrow 74 skied best with forward pressure like a modern slalom ski. The only odd sensation is that the reinforcing element on the top of the ski is noisy, and clatters when skiing. Fore-aft balance is very nice which allows that rare combination of high performance and skiability. Technical skills are needed to really get the most out of it.

The Bottom Line:  Fantastic carver, powerful grip, good balance.
