PRIOR Skis ... Made in Canada

Prior has been refining the ride since 1990 in Whistler, BC. Snowboard-building experience stretches back 20 years but in 2002 that savvy was expanded to skis. The current ski line is six models in various lengths for ripping the west coast snow. All skis are based on a vertically-laminated Maple wood core. With one of North America’s most amazing ski resorts literally minutes from the factory door, skis are regularly tested and tweaked.

Prior’s factory in Whistler is open for tours Wednesdays at 5pm and Sundays at 4pm during the winter months. Each model is available in a variety of topsheet and base graphic options (designed by local artists) to suit every taste. Even more intriguing is a custom feature in which Prior will create a ski with any topsheet graphics and/or base graphics you care to provide.  They even write your name on the skis!

This year a new all-mountain carving ski called 02 (85mm underfoot) has been launched. Just as exciting, prices for the 02, Original, Sister and Doughboy have all been reduced by $150 from $999 to $849.  Their Husume and Overlord models have been reduced $100 to $899.
