ROSSIGNOL BOOTS
Sensor3 is Rossignol’s boot concept that was introduced last year after 3 years in development. The concept is based on the knowledge that balance is based on feedback from 3 areas of the foot, the triangle formed by the heel and 1st and 5th metatarsals. To maximize that feedback, Sensor3 uses a narrow footboard so the liner rests directly on the shell in those areas and stiffer plastic is used in strategic locations to further sharpen the response. Sensor3 has been expanded to a new, roomier shell called Sensor. Sensor is found in lines such as the new Vita women’s series. For the North American market certain Rossignol boots are listed in US shoe sizes, not mondopoint.
Rossignol says that the Sensor3 liner is the industry’s first truly out-of-the-box anatomical liner. It’s as sculpted as the shell with minimal thickness at overlaps and few gaps for a very precise fit.
