| ROSSIGNOL BOOTS
Using a 3-D imaging system, Rossignol scanned 20,000 feet when redesigning the boot line with modern foot shapes. The result is an asymmetric toe box, more width across the forefoot and a more articulate mid-foot and heel pocket. Rossignol says its boots fit more feet than any other brand.
For the North American market, certain Rossignol boots are listed in US shoe sizes, not mondopoint. Half-sizes only available.
This year the collection is based on the Sensor Fit concept. The accurate shell shape combined with a true-lasted liner (fits shell exactly) makes what Rossignol calls the best out-of-the-box fit in the business. The Sensor shell also uses a boot board that is in direct contact with the shell for more intimate snow feel and precision. The Sensor scale is as follows:

A point worth noting is that the liners are fit exactly to the shell so there are no gaps or loose areas between shell and liner for

SENSOR3 (100mm last)
Sensor3 is Rossignol’s boot concept that was introduced after 3 years in development and it remains a key technology in the new Rossignol line. The concept is based on the knowledge that balance is based on feedback from 3 areas of the foot, the triangle formed by the heel and 1st and 5th metatarsals. To maximize that feedback, Sensor3 uses a narrow footboard so the liner rests directly on the shell in those areas and stiffer plastic is used in strategic locations to further sharpen the response.

Women’s boots are specially shaped to accommodate women’s feet and legs with narrower heel and smaller forefoot shapes. They also have special cuffs that are lower and tulip-shaped for a more natural fit.
