Ski Logik Skis

After a decade of working for other ski-makers, David Mazzarella realized his dream of manufacturing his own distinctive brand. “Distinctive” hardly does justice to the amazing Ski Logik line. On the rack they stand out because each one has a topsheet that’s a work of art in wood.

But it’s what can’t be seen that makes them contenders in the competitive world of performance skis. Matched hardwood cores, carbon fiber, fiberglass layers and super-slippery sintered UHMW base material is proof no corners have been cut in construction. Matched cores mean that the hardwood is matched for grain and quality and then both cores are machined side by side for maximum consistency from left to right ski. Even sidewalls are made of Black Locust wood, the hardest wood used in any ski construction. 95% of the wood used to make Ski Logik skis is harvested in a sustainable way. And, for every pair of skis sold, Ski Logik donates to the Nature Conservancy to plant a tree in a reclaimed ecological reserve.
